Virginia fishing report from Capt Ken Trail
MH Fishing Report
2/15/21
The past week has produced some of the fattest fish of the year so far! As these big females start toward the final stages of egg production they will begin to feed heavily on larger baits. This is a great time of the year to slow roll large sucker baits, pounder bull dawgs, and the like. Had success on some big swim baits this week as well. High water is our current issue with snow, ice, and rain run off! But hopefully things will settle down. If you’d like to experience the James or New river in VA give me a call!
