Virginia Fishing Report-Captain Ken Trail
MH Fishing Report
2/8/21
February!!! One of the best musky months of the year! With
the river levels holding at ideal levels we are experiencing good
numbers of fish and quality fish. Recently had a client catch a
true VA heavyweight on a Hot Tail glider. The glide bait bite has
been solid. Also work lower in the water column on those
slower days with Red October Tubes bouncing the bottom very
slowly. We’ve been doing some jigging as well, catching fish in
those deeper eddie pockets. As we move towards the spawn
these fish will start to move and put that feed bag on!
If you’d like to experience the James or New river in VA give me a call!
