Twin Cities Muskies Inc Chapter Hosting Frank Schneider Memorial Muskie Tournament

The Frank Schneider Memorial Muskie Tournament is the longest running fishing competition to be hosted by Muskies Inc.  This tournament kicked off this morning and runs through Sunday (September 10, 11, and 12, 2021).  There are 20 different lakes available for anglers to fish from in Northern Minnesota over the the three day challenge.  This Catch-Photo-Release tournament ensures that each fish caught will be released back to it’s waters.

A point system will be used to determine the Top 10 anglers and Top 3 junior anglers that will receive prizes including new rods, reels, line, and lures.  The first place finisher will receive a week long stay at the Red Wing Lodge at Sabaskong Bay, Lake of the Woods.

The forecast for this tournament looks favorable with highs in the low 80’s for today, and highs in the mid to upper 60’s for Saturday and Sunday.  No rain currently predicted in the forecast, so should be a really great weekend for the anticipated 500 anglers for this tournament.

All information for this tournament is available on the Twin Cities Muskies Inc Chapter Website
