The Wilson Family Story
“OUR DREAM IS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC WE FELT EACH YEAR DURING OUR WEEK AT THE LAKE.”
The Wilsons became part of the Deerfoot family in 2012 and appreciate that many of you have been Deerfootin’ since well before our time, many for decades! For almost fifteen years, our family went to a simple fishing resort in northern MN for one week every summer. We made incredible memories there and many of our ‘one-week-per-year’ resort friends became like family with whom we stay in contact to this day. One year, the MN resort was unexpectedly sold, the cabins were bulldozed and our cherished vacation destination was no longer. That experience and the importance of slowing down to spend time with those you love fuels the fire for what we do. Deerfoot Lodge offers us an opportunity to continue the story – the entire Deerfoot Crew is passionate about keeping fishing resort vacation traditions alive and well by providing an ideal place to host you and your loved ones for decades to come.
