With 47 fish in the boat between Scott and Chris the first two weeks of March, Kinkaid Lake in Southern Illinois continues to be an early option for great muskie fishing. rains, but glide boats such as the Drifter Hellhound is a great option. Water depths has already started to recede and a decent bite can be found trolling outside the spawning flats. Some big fish showing up as well, with Chris Riebe’s client having a 5 fish day with a fat 47.75” to top it off. A couple more weeks of pre spawn Muskie fishing still left.
