Guide Lines with Ken Trail: Virginia
Bite has been pretty consistent, even though we are struggling with extremely clear and low water. Best bite has been in the early mornings and evening. Burning bucktails, musky Innovations mag swim baits and shallow bull Dawgs ripped have been the ticket for me the past week or so. Also caught one today working a Hot Tail Glider very quickly. Weeds are in and thick, fish are holding on the weeds and deep current areas. Working parallel to the ledges in the deeper current has produced fish as well. Water temps on the New are hovering around 70° and the James is a little warmer.
