Guide Lines with Chase Gibson: West Virginia!

Fishing has been tough due to spawn the past 2-3 weeks. But here recently most of the fish are coming off spawn and are eating great.  Yesterday we boated 4 in an evening casting (including a double).  Today my clients bagged two nice fish. We contacted several more throughout the day. Water temps are 60-64 degrees. Clarity is 5-6ft visibility. We are contacting fish around structure; near spawning areas or on spawning areas. Standing timber is holding post-spawn fish. Working crank baits and glide baits around timber has been the ticket. Big fish will be on the prowl any day, it’s only going to get better from here.  I have a few dates left in April, May, and one or two days in June! Text or call me for available dates and prices! Start your season early here in West Virginia. Very unique lake and it’s full of fish with a lot of 45-50inch class fish!
