Guide Lines with Chase Gibson: West Virginia Muskies

Due to another cold front our water temps have fallen down to 56-58 degrees.  It didn’t affect the bite though! In the past 3 trips my clients have boated 8 Muskies with 4 of them being the clients first muskies including a 48” and a 45”.  I am starting to find fish throughout the main lake. Small timbered coves, main lake points and flats are holding fish. Glide baits and twitch baits are working well. A Trophy time glider and smaller jerk baits have been the two key baits! Casting them tight to the trees and landing lures tight to the banks is what is triggering my strikes.  With water clarity is 2-4ft visibility, meaning  the best fishing has still yet to come.
