Guide Lines with Dustin Magnan:

Twin Cities and Central Minnesota Fishing Report

This past week has been full of activity and the fish seem to be moving shallower due to finally
getting some rain and cooler air temps. The water temps are slowly getting closer to normal levels and
the fish are getting more active. I had luck moving fish on shallow mid lake structures and rock reefs as
well as weed breaks in the 5 to 10 foot range during the prime time hours. The fish have been most
responsive on the Baby Beaver XL and the Musky Mayhem 10-9 combos.

Mid day has been all about trolling deep breaks and bottom transitions with Phantom Lures Hex,
ASB Custom Stinky Fingers and Joe Bucher Deep Raiders. When we aren’t trolling we are throwing
rubber along some of the deep breaks in the 15 to 20 ft range and working the bait down the weed
edges. The seven day forecast has multiple rain days and we will hopefully see the fishing continue to
heat up. Good Luck and Tight lines.
