Bio:
Volunteering for a multitude of organizations such as the USSA, HOFNOD and others, I have conducted youth events to introduce and guide new anglers into the sport of fishing. Providing safe instruction, teaching conservation, angler responsibility, promoting a positive influence and instilling self-confidence into young anglers has always been held in high regard. I have been featured by several outdoors publications, radio shows, television shows and I am a regular contributor to my local newspaper’s fishing reports on muskie fishing.I have been a muskie addict since 1994 when it was suggested that I accompany some friends on a Canadian fishing trip for a week. That trip produced my first 50” muskie as my 2nd muskie ever and forever changed my view of fishing. I have served on the board of the prestigious Ohio Huskie Muskie Club, Inc. for over 25 years as a trustee and President of the organization for 9 years. This involves educating anglers on muskie fishing, conservation and assisting with Ohio’s State run muskie stocking program. In addition to muskie fishing locally in Ohio and Michigan waters, I can be found competing on the Professional Muskie Tournament Trail. My trolling techniques combined with understanding of marine electronics and seasonal muskie patterns make me a solid contender. I conduct seminars and shares his knowledge on muskie fishing in the Midwest.
As owner of Excalibur Rodworks I repair and build high end custom fishing rods for all species.
I have been married for over 25 years and have a son Jake and daughter Jenna who are both accomplished muskie anglers.
