The 20th Annual Challunge on the Chain Tournament will be on help on May 15, 2021 on the Fox Chain of Lakes in IL. This is a great tournament that raises money for stocking(Illinois and Lake Geneva), IDNR wish list, youth activities and research.

A little history on the FRV Muskies Inc Club

Founded in 1981, Fox River Valley Chapter of Muskies Inc. is celebrating its 39th anniversary this year! Our club promotes all kinds of activities related to muskies and the art of musky fishing as outlined in the Articles of Incorporation of Muskies, Inc.

The four driving factors in our mission are youth, fishing education, fisheries and research & community. By focusing on these things, we continue to improve angling opportunities now and in the future for all.

We are entirely self-funded. Our chapter works closely with a variety of civic and community organizations to help promote fund raising activities. We are actively involved in organizing youth programs, youth fishing outings, musky tournaments and stocking activities.

Our chapter has 258+ members including men, women and children of all ages. We consistently promote diversity within our chapter. Our Board of Directors meet monthly to discuss budgetary issues, funding, chapter activities, tournaments, raffles and other issues related to keeping our chapter financially solvent. We establish an annual operating budget and this is approved by the Executive board every December.

We strictly adhere to the guidelines and bylaws outlined in the articles set forth by Muskies, Inc and we are a 501 C3 Non-Profit organization.

Our club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month except for June, July and August. Our meetings are held at the Chandler’s Chop House located at 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg, IL.
