Ethan Hennessey, 17 years old, was on a quest to catch his first Musky.  He, his father, and brother used Matts Fishing Guide service on Mille Lacks Lake and their guide, Ryan, got them on this big lady!  She measured in at 53.5″ x 27″!  He got a great fish for his first ever Musky – way to go Ethan and Matts Fishing Guide Service.

The entire crew at Mattsfishing would like to congratulate Ethan Hennessey and Captain Ryan on his massive Mille Lacs Lake musky! This ghost of the depths was caught while casting and was Ethan’s first ever musky! Although only 17 with many years of musky fishing in his future, Ethan is going to have a hard time topping this fish of +/- 50lbs!!

Ethan along with his father and brother had enjoyed a beautiful day of musky fishing the big lake. Their Mattsfishing Guide Ryan keeping the boat in potential giant territory unit this beast of a musky decided it was time for her photo shoot shortly before sunset. An epic battle around the boat ended in successful catch.
