That’s a wrap folks.  With the tournament in the books here is how the winning team boated the four fish that put them in first place.   Chase wrote this about the win:

Figureights’ Battle of the Virginia’s tournament is a challenge every year. High muddy water or freezing conditions is a common theme. The lake rose 4-5ft in 24hrs and water clarity became poor.  With visability between 1-2 ft in the water we knew we were going to have to work for bites.  Despite the conditions Doug Jenkins and I managed to land 4 fish securing our win. This was the first time a West Virginia team has won this tournament! Baitfish were really spread out due to the sudden rise in water level and change in water clarity.  We managed to catch a 49.75,42,46.75, 36.5 on Chaos tackle Medussa’s on steep banks with a slow and steady retrieve! The water depth we were fishing was 8-15′.  With the sudden drop off the fish were holding tight to shore in the 42 degree water.   We were using side imaging to find the fish and work the areas.  We just fished slow and deliberate trying to cover every inch of water where we located the fish.   (Side Note:  They also lost 5 other fish that they had action from.  Pretty impressive if you ask me)

Congratulations Chase and Doug!
