Fishing has been very good with a great open water bite the last couple of weeks. A lot of big fish hit the net with good numbers as well. We caught a good number of fish on beavers, monster tubes and swimming dogs. Best colors have been natural baitfish patterns (whites and blues).
With the combination of continuing heat, water temps rising and this last full moon we are starting to see a good push of fish to shallower structure. Start looking for fish on points, rock piles and weed flats adjacent to good open water spots as the season progresses. The bucktail/topwater bite will be heating up as well. Good luck on the water!!
